Bach Dang Riverside Park is a linear waterfront promenade along the Saigon River in District 1, stretching between the Ferry Terminal and the Museum of Fine Arts — roughly 1.5 kilometers of riverside path with benches, street food vendors, and views across the river to the Thu Thiem development on the opposite bank. The promenade is most active in the early morning with exercisers and elderly locals, and from late afternoon through evening with families, couples, and tourists watching the river traffic and city lights. Boat tours of the Saigon River depart from the Bach Dang jetty, making it a departure point for river excursions as well as a destination in its own right.
