Hoang Van Thu Park is a 5-hectare public park in Phu Nhuan District, one of the few green spaces of meaningful size in Ho Chi Minh City's inner residential districts. The park is popular with morning joggers, elderly residents doing tai chi, and families in the afternoons, and its tree canopy provides a respite from the surrounding urban density. The area offers a quieter, more local feel than District 1 while remaining close to Tan Son Nhat Airport (10–15 minutes) and central HCMC (10–15 minutes). The Ho Van Hue dining and cafe strip nearby makes the broader Phu Nhuan neighborhood one of the more comfortable inner-city residential areas in the city.
