The Jade Emperor Pagoda (Chùa Ngọc Hoàng, also known as Phuoc Hai Tu) is one of Ho Chi Minh City's most atmospheric and historically significant temples, built in 1909 by the Cantonese congregation as a Taoist shrine to the supreme ruler of heaven.
