For morning energy we recommend grapefruit or sweet orange (uplifting and mood-brightening), peppermint (mental clarity and alertness), or eucalyptus (refreshing and clearing). If you have an important meeting or presentation, a rosemary-peppermint blend is excellent for focus and confidence.

Either works. Showering before ensures your skin is clean for optimal oil absorption. Showering after removes the oil residue if you prefer — though many clients leave the oils on as they absorb well and act as a moisturiser throughout the day. The oils used are non-greasy and won't stain clothing.

Yes, though we recommend using sunscreen over any residual oil before sun exposure. Certain citrus oils can increase photosensitivity, so a quick rinse or light lotion over treated areas before prolonged outdoor activity is a good precaution. Inform your therapist if you're heading outdoors and they can choose appropriate oils.
