Everything you need to know before you book
Pregnancy massage requires specialized setup — please mention your trimester when booking via WhatsApp. This allows us to confirm the right therapist and ensure side-lying positioning and bolster support are prepared on arrival. Pregnancy massage is available from the second trimester onward; first-trimester bookings are assessed case by case. Same-day bookings are available with 2–3 hours notice. Aromatherapy with pregnancy-safe oils is the most requested service. If you have any physician or midwife guidance, mention any restrictions when booking.
Pregnancy massage is most comfortable when you're rested — a morning or early afternoon booking tends to work better than late evening when tiredness is compounding. The 60-minute format suits most trimesters; 90 minutes is fine in the second trimester when energy is better. Avoid booking immediately after a large meal — the side-lying position is more comfortable on a lighter stomach. Regular sessions (every 2–4 weeks) are more effective for ongoing discomfort management than occasional single bookings.
The therapist arrives with bolster pillows and positioning aids for side-lying work, along with massage oils. Setup takes 7–8 minutes. The session uses specialized positioning on your bed: side-lying with bolster support for the abdomen and between the knees, with regular position changes. Pressure is gentle to medium — deep tissue work is avoided during pregnancy. The therapist checks in on comfort regularly. Take a few minutes before standing after the session. Payment is cash; no deposit required.
“Seven months pregnant and my lower back and hips were in constant protest. Mentioned it when booking and the therapist adapted the session completely — side-lying position, appropriate pressure, gentle oils. Relief I hadn't had in weeks. Would recommend to anyone in the same position.”
