The approach to massage differs greatly during and after pregnancy. Prenatal massage focuses on safe positioning and relieving the specific strains of carrying a growing baby. Postnatal massage focuses on hormone regulation, healing, and reducing water retention after birth. Both require a therapist experienced in maternal massage.
| Aspect | Prenatal Massage | Postnatal Massage |
|---|---|---|
| Timing | During pregnancy — safest after the first trimester (12+ weeks) | After birth — from 3-5 days post natural delivery, 4-6 weeks post C-section |
| Positioning | Side-lying with pillow support — no face-down after 12 weeks | Standard prone and supine once cleared by doctor |
| Focus Areas | Lower back, hips, swollen legs, and feet | Neck and shoulders (from feeding), abdomen, lymphatic system |
| Avoided Areas | Ankle pressure points that may stimulate contractions | C-section scar until healed; deep pressure on abdomen |
| Primary Goal | Comfort, pain relief, and relaxation during pregnancy | Recovery, hormone balancing, and rebuilding energy |
Book prenatal massage from your second trimester onwards for back pain, hip discomfort, swollen legs, or sleep difficulties. Always inform your therapist of your gestational age.
Book postnatal massage as soon as you have clearance — 3-5 days after natural birth, 4-6 weeks after caesarean. The first weeks postpartum are when massage has the greatest impact.

Everything you need to know before you book
Same-day bookings are available for all services with 2–3 hours notice. The fastest booking path is WhatsApp: send your hotel name or address, the service you want, preferred duration, and start time. We confirm within 30 minutes. The website form works for advance scheduling. For same-evening bookings, sending your message by 5 PM gives the best availability across all services. Late-night sessions (after 11 PM) carry a 50,000 VND surcharge and require 2 hours notice. Payment is cash, settled directly with the therapist after the session — no deposit or prepayment at any stage.
The most popular booking window is 5–10 PM. Same-day availability is good within this window with 2–3 hours notice. For clothed services (Thai, shiatsu, foot, head and shoulder), morning sessions are equally viable — setup is fast and there is no post-session consideration. For oil-based services (aromatherapy, hot stone), evening sessions are the natural fit because the relaxation carries into sleep. If you are flexible on timing, the least competitive window for same-day availability is midday (12–4 PM). Booking by 4 PM for an evening session gives the most flexibility for any service.
The therapist arrives at your hotel or accommodation with a full professional kit — table, linens, oils, mat, or equipment as required by the service. Setup takes 2–10 minutes. Sessions run the full booked duration. No prepayment is required. For oil massages, you undress to your comfort level and are covered by a sheet throughout. For clothed services, you remain fully dressed in loose clothing. The therapist does a brief 2-minute consultation before starting to confirm preferences and any health considerations. Payment is cash after. The room is left exactly as it was found. Most guests find the in-room format more comfortable than a spa visit.
“Wasn't sure which massage to choose, so I messaged via WhatsApp and got a straightforward recommendation. Booked the suggested service and it was exactly right. The therapist arrived on time, professional setup, full session. Good advice and good execution.”
