The booking process is identical regardless of venue type: send the address or hotel name via WhatsApp, specify service and time, and confirm within 30 minutes. No special arrangements are needed for Airbnb or apartments — the therapist brings a professional table, linens, and all equipment. The only location-related consideration is access: if your building requires a guest pass or advance notice to security, mention this when booking so the therapist is not delayed at the lobby.
Traditional spa bookings in HCMC require advance scheduling (24–48 hours for peak evening slots), travel to the location, waiting in a lobby, and a return journey afterward. In-room massage is same-day available, therapist comes to you, and the session begins in your own space. Price is substantially different: in-room from 400,000 VND (60 min); hotel spa typically from 1,800,000–3,000,000 VND. The therapist brings equivalent professional equipment — the same folding table, quality oils, and professional kit used in licensed spa settings. The absence of a dedicated spa environment is the only trade-off; for most guests, the convenience and price more than compensate.
For oil massages: a professional folding table (fits any standard hotel room), fresh linens, a selection of essential oils, and — for hot stone — a stone heating unit. For clothed services: a padded mat, towel, and any service-specific tools. Setup takes 3–10 minutes depending on the service. The therapist needs approximately 2m × 1.5m of clear floor space for the table — most hotel rooms and apartments accommodate this without moving furniture, though clearing the foot of the bed is common practice. No separate bathroom access is required during the session. All equipment is cleaned between clients. The room returns to normal in under 5 minutes after the session ends.
